Ask the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office, Arkansas Department of Corrections, court, or other issuing body to confirm custody or supply an official record. An arrest and its booking charge describe an accusation, not a conviction. Charges may be reduced or dismissed, and every person is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
